Ok! So, the night train to Chiang Mai was cancelled due to flooding at the train station, got our tickets refunded and were directed in the right direction to book a night bus instead. Fine, except prices have doubled in the last few days how convenient!! We boarded the bus about half 8 last night, we were on the top deck right at the front, with no seat belts!!!!!... quite scared!! Although everything was fine, seemed a safe journey. Found it had to sleep on the bus and arrived in Chiang Mai this morning around 8am, very tired!

Someone from the guest house picked us up and we were able to check in almost straight away, shower, and sleep untill lunch time!! Accomodation a bit more basic this time... bed is rock hard, but seems a good atmosphere around the place! We went out for a walk and had maybe one too many Chang's and sangsom (local whiskey!) this afternoon... we had to really as a big storm came and we were sheltering in a bar at the time!!

Anyway..cooking course tomorrow!!!
