Hi everyone!

Well..... we arrived in Bangkok last night, its quite crazy (in the words of my best pal it really is summat else!!). Our hotel good, right around the corner from Kho San road so we headed there first for a look around and some food, really nice Pad Thai from a street stall! There is so much to look at, already bought something for baby Archie and some sunglasses! :) Also we tried out a fish spa..couldn't quite get used to fish nibbling between my toes!!

This morning we got up and tried to head for the Grand Palace, after almost getting ripped off by two different tuk tuk drivers (Tom is too clever to be conned!!) we made it over there. Its very beautiful although so so hot as you have to cover up (long skirt and cardigan).

We have one more day in Bangkok tomorrow and then getting on the night train to Chang Mai, leaving at 6.10pm and arriving the next morning! We have also booked a 2 day trek and a cooking course there (could be intresting with my kitchen skills!!)
