Ok we arrived in Krabi (well just outside Krabi Town and had to get a taxi in). Don't think either of us realised before we arrived that the beach was so far away from the town! Ok, so we got into Bangkok at lunch time on 7th November and went to find some way of getting down to Koh Phangan.We soon found that our only choice really was bus due to the train station being flooded.Couldn't help feeling we were escaping Bangkok just in time, the travel agent had a rubber dinghy in the office in preparation for the floods that were on the way very soon.So we booked our tickets on the VIP night bus and went off around Bangkok for the afternoon...

Hi everyone! The cooking course was really good on saturday, we made about 5 dishes each including thai green curry and sweet and sour chicken! We also got to eat it all at the end, that was the best bit! Yesterday morning we set off at 9am for our trek in the jungle (Sobwin I think the area was called). We travelled about 1 and a half hours to get there and started off with an elephant ride, feeding them bamboo sticks and bananas on the we around! Great fun ex...

Ok! So, the night train to Chiang Mai was cancelled due to flooding at the train station, got our tickets refunded and were directed in the right direction to book a night bus instead. Fine, except prices have doubled in the last few days how convenient!! We boarded the bus about half 8 last night, we were on the top deck right at the front, with no seat belts!!!!!... quite scared!! Although everything was fine, seemed a safe journey.
