Hello everyone,

We're finally here!!!!

Thankyou for all your lovely messages, it's great to see everyone writing to us!

Heres a quick low down of the plane trip and our arrival into oz!

PLANE

We were second in the queue to check in, so that was quick and easy. Once checked in we chilled out with a drink in spoons, I was gettin quite nervous at this point (Michelle)! Looked round the shops and waited. Qantas were really good. Had our own tellys, where we could see how long we had left on the plane. I managed to survive and didn't panic too much eh Zoe!!!!

Overall the flight went quite quickly and wasn't no where near as bad as I thought.

You've seen the entry on Singapore, with the swimming pool hehe, there was a little problem at Singapore airport regarding me (Michelle). We just went through the gate to board our plane when Zoe heard an announcement calling us to the desk. They took our passports and asked to see my (Michelle's) visa! It was all ok in the end though, just a little bit of panic and the concern of being arrested and given 20 lashes!!!!!

The next plane wasn't as nice as the first one i.e no telly, but it got us to Darwin safely and then to Cairns.

Once at Cairns airport, Zoe tried to make a joke with the customs guy, which we was advised never to do, but hey! She requested she had a stamp in her passport, luckily the guy did smile and let us through!

Once we went through we saw a really cute dog, which then decided to have a good sniff at Zoes hand luggage! When we got our luggage, because of what happened with the dog, we both had to have our bags searched, fully emptied on the table! During this process the guy asked us where we from, we said from South East England, he then asked if we took walks in Surrey, thinking he was making conversation, but promptly realised he was checking to see if we had foot and mouth!!!!!! But we got through ok, again!!!!

DAY ONE

After all the chaos we caused, before we'd even entered the country, we hopped on a bus that took us to our hostel. Unfortunately we couldn't check in straight away, but we could dump our bags and put on our bikinis and hit the pool!

By the afternoon, we were hit by the jetlag, after hunting for somewhere to eat! Anyway we couldn't stay awake past 5 o'clock in the evening and slept through till 6 o'clock the next morning!

DAY TWO

So far we've booked a trip to go scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef on Friday, and we're visiting the rainforest tomorrow. We've also been into Billabong and Michelle's got her first pair of Boardies!!!

Anyway guys was nice speaking to you, we're off to the lagoon in a bit, so we'll speak to you all again soon!
