We went to Tulum and got annoyed with the stupid tourists clambering all over the ruins having ignored the signs and climbed over the ropes meant to keep people off. Luckily a man with a whistle turned up and got rid of them all. It is very touristy here, and more expensive than the rest of Mexico. And full of smokers everywhere polluting the place. Still, only a few days to go till home sweet home. The hordes of Italian tourists do mean that there are good Italian restaurants though.
