At long last the adventures overseas are over, I hope you have enjoyed our website.

We have finally fallen into resort central. It was inevitable really, given that our final flight is out of Cancun. There's not much in the way of Mexican culture here, but we did go on a fantastic snorkeling trip yesterday. We went to Tulum and got annoyed with the stupid tourists clambering all over the ruins having ignored the signs and climbed over the ropes meant to keep people off. Luckily a man with a whistle turned up and got rid of them all. It is very touristy here, and more expensive than the rest of Mexico. And full of smokers everywhere polluting the place. Hello, we have been to see Chichen Itza today, an impressive set of Mayan ruins. We arrived at Piste, the nearest town, yesterday but we found that our hotel had satelite TV, and there was an Englnd match on, so we watched that instead. 4-0, we are now big fans of Steve Mclaren! Hello from rainy Merida. We have spent the last couple of days here and it has rained a lot. It hasn't rained yet today, but we are keeping our waterproofs close just in case.
