Well it seems like ages since we left Portree 2 days ago but we've certainly checked out some remote parts of Scotland. Some of the places we've visited in that time were Dunvegan Castle, Plockton, Inverness (cover photo of man fishing in river in middle of city),Inverness museum (amazing),Nain (East coast beach town), Clava Cairns burial site, Cawdor Castle & Culloden battle field. We then headed south to Stirling which took is through the inland Scottish mountains. The amazing & challenging part of this time were some of the roads we travelled, actually couldn't call some roads. The were SO NARROW & had small passing places. There are some incredibly isolated areas in Scotland & we wondered how or why some people lived there! Has been a great few days of exploring, I really loved Inverness, had a really great feel to it. Sadly yesterday we got news that our good friend Agu Majajas had died suddenly, so sad for his family.

Julie Hi Zel & Charlie, Your Scotish travels sound wonderful and I've been enjoying the pics too. Much love x
Jules Your travels sound inspiring, Vinnie's started thinking about our next trip - perhaps the British isles.... Sad to hear about Agu, I guess it just reminds us that's important to make time to do the things we value.
Robyn Hi..you certainly are packing in a lot as you go.. and your travels make you appreciate how lucky we are! I guess some of those roads were started there a LONG time ago. How is the accomodation and have you met any interesting characters? Take care x
