So, we finally made it!

I'm going to keep this relatively short, as nothing of interest has happened. The trip to Newcastle Airport was 'interesting' thanks to some odd road works. Still, we got there on time. Uneventful flight, followed by 6 hours in Heathrow Terminal 5, which is such an odd place! Who decides at the last minute that they need to buy a suit from Tom Baker (Ted Baker?), or a pair of shade from Prada!?

The long haul was also an uneventful 10 hours, softened thanks to on board movies such as 'Get him to the Greek' or 'The A Team'.

Arrived 9am this morning, beautiful clear day, and wasted most of it catching up on sleep.

Nevertheless, I'm sure the interesting stuff is just around the corner.
