Early rise. We spent all day queuing up to get into the Botanic Gardens on the harbourside to see the New Year fireworks.

I'm glad we did it, but wouldn't bother again. It's a lot of waiting around. From 10am until middnight. And the few was

good, but not the best. Still, it was free.

The drinks tent ran out of beer, just before middnight, whether on purpose or not, I don't know. so, I ended up buy a bottle

of the crappiest champagne ever. In a plastic bottle!! Still, it wasn't too expensive, by comparison!
