London 00:14 / Brisbane 10:14

I have arrived! Currently sitting in Brisbane Central Library. My second flight was smooth and arrived on time at 6.30am Australian time. I was then met and taken to the 'Yellow Submarine Hostel' with another member of my party, Oscar from Sweden. We have been wandering the streets of Brisbane since about 8am and I am determined to stay awake for as long as possible so that I can adjust my body clock! (But am really looking forward to going to bed tonight!!)

Its really hot here, even so early in the morning. There are clear blue skies and the library is on the river which is beautiful. Its a very modern city, very clean and very busy. I'm not sure if there's really a lot to do here but we are going to continue wandering around to see what we can find. I have already taken lots of photos which I will upload in due course.

This evening we will have dinner with the rest of our party. There are 15 of us in total, mostly English and German. Then tomorrow morning we are catching a bus to Rainbow Beach where we stay until Monday morning. Then the farming begins...
