Calgary - home to the Calgary Stampede dubbed the greatest outdoor show on earth! This is the reason we came to Calgary and let me me say it lived up to all its expectations. Just a flying visit to Montreal which is basically a sister to Quebec City In my opinion. The main attraction we wanted to see was the Notre Dame Basilique so we went straight to it that afternoon. The second day in Quebec we checked out the ciitudelle home of the 22nd Royal regiment and still an active military base now. We took an hour tour around the grounds which was really interesting finding out about the British influence here. We got to see the cannon fire a blank shot at 12 midday.
