Arrived safely in Buenos Aires, 24 hrs in a v nice hotel in Palermo 'Hollywood' before heading to Bariloche. Had a wander to a veggie cafe an barged through a film set...both now officially filmstars!
Seems like an interesting area, very hip and green, where as we're very british and rather pale.
We've had a few 'moments' already eg when we arrived the lift wasnt working, we returned from lunch and they pointed out that the lift was fixed. It's a bit of a fancy hotel, and we pressed the button and both stood there waiting until he pointed out that what we thought was a chic pane of glass was actually the open door, and we could get in. As we went up we could see he couldn't turn to face us as he was shaking with laughter... As were we.
Kerry later reminded us both that less is definitely more when it comes to adding bubble bath to a jacuzzi unless the plan actually requires you to fill the bathroom with bubbles! Photo to follow,watch this blog!
So enough for one day, we made it here, we had dos cervezas, we entertained a few members of hotel staff but most of all had a great laugh ourselves... Hola Argentina!
