Day 3
Arrived in Bariloche yesterday an settled into cabana we are staying in for the next week or so. Ashley, who owns the place, is very welcoming and friendly and has given us maps and info on local walks.
We... Kerry as Wix slept through it, thought we had an intruder last night- woken by a noise and footsteps! all became clear when Ashley's cat leapt past wix's head and out of the window above the bed!! Good job it was quick or i would have had to kill it with my flip flop, Lol.
We went out on the classic scenic drive today, the Circuito Chico round the Llao Llao peninsula, which was stunning- shimmering silvery blue lake with islands and the Andes as a backdrop. We did a short hike to a lakeside beach at Villa Tacul. The water was lovely and cool, the sun hot, the mountains huge, great picnic, dos cervezas on the way home - life is good :)
