22nd: Pass through several tiny towns, almost looking like Ghost Towns. Lots of sagebrush and Joshua trees along the way. Pass a small Caldera (a caldron type of depression after large amts. of magma/lava have erupted quickly, from the volcano. This one was perfectly shaped.

Pass Nellis AFB in Cactus Springs and a Correctional Institute in Coral Springs. Also pass through a Paiute Reservation.

Head into "Area 51" and a really bright light ahead, REALLY bright! (appeared as a sun) The Tonopah Solar Power Station, WOW, so bright.

Had lunch at Area 51 Restaurant, fun stuff. At least the aliens let us leave after we ate! Temperature is 93 at 1 pm.

24th: Go into the "strip" this morning; leave early to get away from too many crowds. HAHA! Had a great time and took advantage of the Valet parking after trying to park ourselves. Toured the Venetian, Caesar's Palace, and the Bellagio, all stunning, each in their own way and so very clean. How do they do it, so many people all the time? Had the Buffet at the Bellagio, oh my, no words needed. About 3 pm we got our truck and headed back to the campground - just worn out! Very, Very evident why this is call sin city. I can't help think it is much like Sodom. Very happy to leave.
