GOODBY GRAND CANYON

Temp: 51 or 52 degrees each a.m. Highs around 80.

Saying for the day: The piano keys are black and white but they sound like a million colors in your mind.

We had a great time these 3 days, mostly relaxing, walking around the fun town - Route 66 - waving to the Grand Canyon train as it goes by, and of course, some catch up on cleaning the truck and getting laundry done. We've met some folks in the park who are from Arizona and come here to spend the summer, as it's much cooler than where they live. On Wednesday we had a thunderstorm and it really cooled it way down to the high 60's. It's been running about 78/80 here, so that was a nice change.

We will leave tomorrow for Mayer, AZ and spend a few days there as well.
