24th September

Today was our last day in Rapallo, tomorrow we drive to Pisa to catch the plane to Spain. Had to repack and clean up. Gary and I had to take the bracket off the sofa bed the Matt managed to bend to a workshop to get straightened. The man was rally good and managed to fix it. When we got back to the car there were blue flashing lights and a few angry Italians around it. Seemed we created our own kind of road block. They park anywhere, why not follow. The policeman just gestured to get in the car and move, now.

After packing up we drove to the beach at Camogli. We had seen that it had a great big public beach the other night when we were there. The kids swam and splashed around for and hour or so and then we had more Gelato. I will miss Italy when we leave tomorrow. I will miss : Nonnas on motor scooters, pasta, pesto, gelato, listening to them talk, insane drivers and every colour Vespa.
