Oatman, Arizona is an old gold-mining town up in the mountains. We took a long, windy, drive up there. The streets have wild donkeys that were left behind many years ago, and we got bags of food to feed them. They ate right out of our hands.

At high noon, there was a gun-fight in the middle of town square.

It is right on Old Highway 66. We got to walk through part of the mine. I can not imagine working in a mine with limited air and lots of dust and dirt.

The town had plenty of shops, with antiques, knick-nacks, and trinkets. All of the kids got hats. Deegan's was the cutest.
