On the night train, a guy came and gave us a spot on our foreheads, as a blessing from leaving the Holy City. (for a small fee of course.) Most people in the train were already asllep by this time, so we pretty much went to bed straight away. When we got back to Delhi, we piled into taxi's, where the guy just balanced our bags on the roof with now ties. It made things interesting to see who's bag was going to fall off first. We then checked back into the Ranouk Hotel again, this time in a different room. We then met up with the others and set off negotiating Delhi ourselves! We got the metro to Rajiv Chowk to be greated by a friendly guy who would take us to the 'market. This turned out to be 'his' market, a shop. We should have learnt by now! After we looked round the real market, to find cheap knockoffs at really cheap prices. Kirst got a bag for £3. We then went for a nice farewell meal, then went to the bar we went on the first night for some last drinks. In the morning, we negotiated the price of a tuk tuk to take us to South Delhi where Dalup would be meeting us for the afternoon. On the way, we got to see a different side to Delhi, this was clean, and quite modern and had some huge houses. Dalup picked us up from where the tuk tuk left us, and took us for a really nice lunch with his Brother in Law. He then took us back to his house which was massive, and looked after us until we got a taxi to the airport. After spending the last of our rupees on kinder eggs and beer, we boarded our plane, and looked forward to what was coming!
