Got a taxi from the airport to the hotel and checked in at about 2200, major jet lag at this point. Did not get to sleep until after midnight, even then woke up at 0630 morning, fell back to sleep and woke up again at 0745. At that point decided to get up and get some breakfast.

After that needed to get into the city and find a tourist information desk, which I found at the Auckland Sky Tower (where you can do a bungee jump from). Needed to get some travel advice about bus routes, hostel accommodation from the information help desk personnel. Found some useful bus routes which travel across all over New Zealand taking all of the sites, sounds, meeting fellow backpackers which I thought was great. The information help desk personnel were very helpful and told me the best thing to do is read over the travel information, come back, book the bus route. Brilliant!! I thought, very easy when you get to know how!! Just ask the right people. Found a coffee shop called Esquire coffee house on Customs Street East, Auckland, drinking coffee to stay awake lol!! Also booked hostel accommodation since I check out of the hotel tomorrow, also at some point I am going to phone my Aunt who resides just north of Auckland to let her know I am now in New Zealand, never met her before but I am looking forward it.
