Currently waiting for my flight (18:25, local time) from Vancouver Airport to Los Angeles which is two hours 54 minutes flight time. Due to the Chile volcano causing air travel chaos I have my route changed, travelling from Los Angeles going instead to Melbourne (15 hours 25 minutes flight time, no stop over I have been told, not fun lol!!) then on to Auckland (3 hours 40 minutes) same day. I bet this has got to be some travel record for me for one day. Ouch!!!. ...

Flight to Los Angeles from Vancouver Had a good flight from Vancouver to Los Angeles. Sat next to an Australian couple who stay in Brisbane who were on holiday to Vancouver and surrounding area for 6 weeks, they were also attending a family wedding on Victoria island. I explained to them what I was doing on the flight to Los Angeles, travelling for 6 months to oz and new Zealand. They gave me some helpful tips, locations in New Zealand, and in Australia as well....
