There is something decidely peaceful about floating along the river without a care in the world. Tomaga River was the testing ground for our new toy - a Hobie Quest 11 kayak. Nice toy, easy to use and far more stable on the water than the surf ski. We took turns having a paddle up and down the river, checking out the bird life and getting a closer look at the mangroves. Saw our first ever wild Spoonbill, pretty awesome.

Now all we need is another kayak that takes two so we can all be on the water at the same time.
