Ok, so its 10 past 7 in the morning! As most of u will know, I'm not good with early mornings. Tuesday 7th January 2014 and we are collected by Rob, owner of Sydney Escapes. We are headed to the Blue Mountains and wont be back until 6pm, we are with 12 other travellers, all UK folks orginally as it happens and luckily nice and interesting people. ROB TALKS FOR ENGLAND! And Australia and most countries of the world! I do believe he took a breath, but Im not sure when.
We did have a super day, firstly calling at a wildlife park and seeing Koalas, Kangeroos, Wallabees all wandering free. Various other Aussie native creatures then we headed deeper into our tour. Rob took us 'country way' and we managed to view a herd of kangeroos 'in the bush' also a few Emus in fields along the way. Id woken up by this time and was truly enjoying the trip. Peter was happy talking Cricket with fellow travellers who'd been subjected to England antics at Melbourne and Sydney. So we drove through the blue mountains, had lunch at a Victorian hotel, walked 997 steps down into the valley of the mountains then back up by cable car. Shattered but happy travellers dear Rob dropped us off at a ferry port to end our journey up the Parramatta. On the whole a gt experience.
Wednesday 8th is looming and a short flight to Hamilton Island and the beautiful Whitsundays, will update you about that soon, bye 4 nowI
