Tuesday 2nd February 2016  Sometimes in your life you find a beach that is pretty much perfect. One where the water is blue as a turquoise, the currents are minimal. O.K. so Anse Marcel has a type of grass floating in the water at the moment due to northerly winds but this, again will be gone in 2 days and it doesn't smell like our british seaweed does. It's quickly hoovered up either by tractor during early mornings or it is brushed away by the beach...

  GETTING THERE! (8th/9th)Be warned Miami airport IS without doubt the worst in the world for visiting travellers. From the gate where Virgin passengers disembark we walked for a mile to get to passport control, no exaggeration. Then queue for half an hour to begin the A.P.C.(automated passport control) Easy???? Amazingly after a 15 flight we landed in Dallas quite refreshed. All we wanted was a steak! We were in 'cattle' country. We were in the land of good customer service and mega portions, so in the good ole U. S. of A. we could expect a fabulous HUGE steak dinner in Dallas, even on Valentines day, couldn't we????? ........
