It's been a great vacation, but there was one last stop, with a brief layover in Shanghai.
The weather in Shanghai is warm, but the sky is grey and hazy with pollution. There's not much to do in the airport, but shop for overpriced luxury goods. Skye had a rest to calm her nerves and prepare for the long haul to Vancouver.

Despite the rigors of air travel, I can't say enough good things about China Eastern airlines. The seats have been comfortable, service good, food mostly edible, and a good selection of personal inflight entertainment on the long flights. And Shanghai to Vancouver is a long, grueling flight.
