Koh San Road is the 'backpacker area' of Bangkok. The whole bottom area of this road is covered in photos of those missing or who died in the Tsunami in southern Thailand. There are clothing, food and money donation bins set up. It truly is a very difficult sight. Hello everyone! Having a really interesting trip through Thailand so far. Have been to Kanchanaburi and visited the Bridge over the river Kwai, posed for photos with real live tigers, played with tiger cubs, visited night markets, seen loads of temple ruins in Ayuthaya (see the picture), hand fed wild monkeys, wlaked in National parks, hunted for bargains and tried the local food and taken a fantastic train journey north to Chiang Mai where I am now. ...

Bangkok is the most amazing place. Granted I've only explored a tiny bit of it so far but the city chaos is amazing, I am in the middle of all those images of chaotic asian streets that you see on tv - smoky old buses, tuk tuks all over the place and motorbike taxis that defy the laws of staying alive.
