I fancied starting my own little blog and an easy one for me to do is of all the mountains and routes we have been tackling recently as there seem to be loads, and the stories along the way. Well, we had a team build booked in with us for the Friday, but on the Wednesday they cancelled. 'What shall we do then?' asked Graham (The boss), 'Lets go hiking' said Viv...so we did - Graham Lynn, Martin & me, up Tryffyn, it was blustery but clear, except for the hail near the top. What a great day at work - and we got paid for it! Bit achy the next day and discovered afterwards taht I did it with a 'displaced' rib...but who cares! ...

What shall we do for our works Christmas do? Lets get a cottage in Wales and hike up Snowdonia...so we did! It was busy as usual, the weather was blooming cold - about -15C with the wind chill factor on top - but much more exciting than going out for a meal! October half term I was the cook on the Grantham canal camp (around UK 2006) cooking for 24 people for a week. It was also near enough halloween to warrant lots of pumpkin madness and general silliness, oh and we did heaps of work restoring 2 bridge 'wing' walls. A great week!

Attempting to learn Spanish at a 2 week course in Sevilla! Once you have got used to the Spanish way of life Seville is really nice, it has amazing architecture, tiiny little streets and great tapas and tinto verdano (wine and lemon). I landed at Granada and am going to slowly wind my way back there via Cadiz, Gibralter and Malaga next week.
