The next day I booked a bus ticket back to Lima as apparently it is easier to get a bus from Lima to Santiago than it was from Cusco. Also Neil and Matt were still in Lima sorting out new credit cards and passports so I wouldnt be on my own. I got the last seat on the 6pm bus. I had a very pleasant bus journey and arrived in Lima at 1pm. I went to Inka lodge where the boys were staying and was put in the same room as two weeks ago, so I chose the same bed. I was a bit like going home in a way!
I spent the weekend hanging out with the boys. After I arrived we went for hot chocolate and cheesecake in a local cafe and then out to Pizza Hut later for dinner. I watched a film in the boys room before going to bed myself. The next day we went to an internet cafe and had lunch in one of the cafes. Neil didnt feel to good so he went back to the lodge while me and Matt went 10 pin bowling. I won the first game but then Matt won the next two. I was winning the forth game when our time ran out so I call it a draw but Matt would probably say he won! In the evening the three of us went to see a film at the cinema. We saw Green Lantern, a comic book superhero film in 3D, so we got to wear the cool glasses! Matt was quite funny as he kept jumping and making me jump.
When we got back it was time for me to sort out my travel plans. I could get the bus to Santiago but it was really long. So I had a look on the Green Toad website and they did a trip to Santiago that stopped in Arica and San Pedro with included tours. I just needed to get to Arequipa to where it started. So the next day I went to the bus station to buy my ticket, had lunch with the boys before saying a final farewell to them.
My travels on my own begin .....
