We have spent the last few days exploring the whitsundays on 'the Atlantic Clipper' boat.

We were really worried about the weather but we had the best 3 days for, lots of sun and no wind.

We spent the days snorkelling the outer parts of the Great Barrier Reef which was really great, we saw loads of turtles. However I think we were spoilt by it all in cairns as we didn't se as much as before.

We also visited the beautiful Whitehaven beach. I have never been to a beach like it. The sand is 97% silica which means it as white and as fine as flour. It squeaked beneath our feet as we walked and you can even safely brigs your teeth with the sand!

The boat itself was also good fun. We met Some great people and ate some great food! However sleeping in tiny beds in cabins wasn't the most comfortable!

I also loved Airlie beach, which is where we stayed before and after the boat. A great place with a beautiful lagoon and restuarants. We treated ourselves to a Thai one night- we are become addicts!
