Byron bay has got to be one of the most alternative places I have ever visited, bit I loved it. It's such a chilled out town with a lovely beach, shops and bars. We had heard some really bad reviews about Brisbane, so we weren't really expecting much from it. We were surprised to see how nice it really was. Noosa has got to be one of my favourite towns on the easy coast so far. It had a really nice atmosphere and the hostel (nomads) was really nice. Fraser Island has got to be my favourite trip yet. We spent the 3 day trip off roading in 4x4s around the island visiting some really beautiful places. We were put into groups of 8 for our cars and took it in turns to drive. We let the guys do the hard driving and us girls drove on the beach. We have spent the last few days exploring the whitsundays on 'the Atlantic Clipper' boat. We were really worried about the weather but we had the best 3 days for, lots of sun and no wind. We spent the days snorkelling the outer parts of the Great Barrier Reef which was really great, we saw loads of turtles.
