Today we flew out of Hue to Hanoi. Hue's airport was tiny with only one other flight other than our flight leaving while we were there. Had a bit of a sleep in and then went on our tour to the royal tombs at 11am. We drove to a number of tombs which were huge and interesting places. The first was the tomb of Tu Duc which was massive and filled with gardens and lakes.The next stop was the tomb of Khai Dinh which was the newer of the tombs we visited. Today we drove from Hoi An to Hue via Da Nang and the Hai Van pass.Scenic trip along coast road and through mountains took about 3 hours includinga stopover at the pass for photos of the views over the coast and the old fort at the top of the pass. Arriving at the pass we were attacked by a horde of sellers offering drinks and food but managed to escape and enjoy the view.
