We got up at 9am and had breakfast at the hotel after having to wait for a table before going for a walk around the Christianshavn area of Copenhagen seeing Christians Church and Our Saviour Church. Got up at 7.15am and had breakfast at the hotel then walked down to central station and after working out how to get a ticket caught the train to Hillerød to see Frederiksborg Castle. We walked through the town centre to the castle and went on self-guided tour. We arrived by bus into Helsingør and walked along the harbour to Kronborg Castle for a self-guided tour of the royal apartments, church and casemates.Ramparts had excellent views across the Oresund to Helsingborg in Sweden. We then walked back through the old town to the train station stopping for an ice cream each then caught train back to Copenhagen.

Arrived back in Copenhagen and walked down the main shopping street to Dubliner pub for dinner. Place was full so walked back along the street towards the hotel and found another Irish pub, found a table and ate. Had the "football special" which was a burger, fries and a pint of Carlsberg for 100 kroner which wasn't bad. Tired after a long day's walking we walked back to the hotel for a rest and an early night.

We slept in until 9am, had breakfast at the hotel and then got organised and went on walking tour of Copenhagen. We started out walking past the Tivoli towards the Town Hall and the main shopping strip, Stroget.
