We had a bit of a sleep in and then checked out of the hotel and headed for the airport. We caught the KLIA express to Salak Tinggi and then the shuttle bus to KLIA LCCT. As we walked into the terminal we checked the departure screen to see which desk check-in for our flight was operating from but our flight was not on the screen at all.

We went to the Air Asia check-in desk and checked in for our flight. There was nothing said by the check in staff so we asked when the flight was departing. Only then were we told that the flight was delayed 3 hours so we had over 5 hours to kill at the LCCT. After having a 5 hour transit here on the way to Saigon we weren't looking forward to another long period of waiting around in the terminal.

After a hours of watching planes take off and land and foraging at the dried fruit shop we were finally on our way home.
