Turners on a train
Krakow is the location of two of the first UNESCO world heritage sights, one being the beautifully well-preserved old town of the city and the second being the salt mines founded in the 13th century. We managed to see both and were impressed with each.
Krakow was a wonderful place to visit as the sights are lovely to behold. There are a lot of tourists, in particular us Brits were in abundance as we kept overhearing Northern accents. This made it a bit hard to picture everyday life here, so we went to a local food market and there found some good cheese and excellent hummus.
Our journey continues northward.
