Day 76

Kanab, Utah

I spent last night in Vegas at a Motel 6 right on the strip! for a whole 29.99. AWESOME! And I lived to tell about it. The motel 6 was pretty shady, Ok it was REAL shady, but I heard and saw no knife fights or dead hookers. So all was well in shady motel 6 vegas style.

Did I mention that Flagstaff Arizona smells of Dog food? It's pretty disgusting. There's a huge Purina factory there and it seems to spew all that stink into the air. Just a nice side note for you all.

So, I woke up in Vegas and rode over to the Bike shop where I met my buddy Al. Everyone was super friendly there and We were off in a no time, and rode out of Vegas to get to Zion, Utah.

Zion was simply amazing. Got some great pics and videos which I'll upload later. We did drive through this one mile tunnel that was SOOOO freaking cool. It went right through the Mountain, and I swear if you were claustrophobic, you wouldnt last 20 secs.

We decided to skip Bryce for time constraint reasons, and thought we'd spend more time at the Grand Canyon tomorrow.

It's definitly cool having Al here to ride with. These next 3 days are going to be a blast!

It is weird riding around these parts as opposed to riding up in Canada. Up there things seemed so remote and I felt So far away from anyone or anything. Was definitely a lot more of a challenge, where around here I feel like Im never far from ..well..anything. It's hard to explain. I just don't feel as adventurous around here as I felt up in the Great Northwest! It was WAY more remote up there for sure.

217 miles today. Great weather, sunny and warm.

Tomorrow we ride to the Grand Canyon! and hopefully I can upload pics and vids soon
