Roswell NM (day 73)

I liked haveing consectutive days of travel as it was much easier to categorize this trip blog site. It's actually been about 39 days since i FINISHED leg 1 of my big trip. For those of you just tuning in, I've been staying in Albuquerque, NM with Ashley and family spending some quality time out here, and I must say, the weather has been perfect upper 70's the whole time.

So... Ashley and I took a day trip to Roswell. First off, on the road to Roswell from Albuquerque, there aint s***. its a flat desert drive with basically NOTHING to see along the way. A 3 hour ride to boot, but we made it into Roswell about 2PM and parked along main street.

There is Alien stuff EVERYWHERE in this town, and the town is actually a lot bigger then I was expecting. We went to the Alien museum first, which we were both dissapointed in, but thats life. So we decided to find food, and was hoping for the famous alien diner...well, it had been closed down due to bad food we were told. So our little alien/roswell trip was turning into a bust.

We mainly snapped a few pics and then took off on our way back to Albuquerque. I was told from MANY locals not to bother going to Roswell, but being from out of state, well...ya know.. I just HAD to.

At any rate, I leave tomorrow for Flagstaff, Arizona. Riding solo again for a few days to meet up with my buddy Al in Vegas, where he will join me for a few days trip around Utah, Nevada, and Arizona.
