Wills and James Road Trip
Day Forty-five 28.4.05
After a very hot and sticky night without much sleep we set off to get the bus into Seville. By now we were experts and when we arrived at the stop saw many other campers who had been waiting unnecessarily in the heat. Will is really naughty and somehow was at the front of the queue so James had to push to get next to him.
We decided the first thing to do would be a 'Guide Friday Tour' of the city on an open top bus. Most of the 'Campers' on the bus here had the same idea. Unfortunately the top deck was full and nobody was budging. An open top bus trip is rubbish if your sat downstairs so we stayed on and went round again. By the end of the tour we were completely sick of being on the hot bus and were looking forward to stretching our legs.
Seville is a wonderful city with masses to see. We have been here once before and tried to do different things from the last time. We realised we had quite a comprehensive tour last time so much of the day was spent walking the streets of Santa Cruz and El Arenal. It was just nice to walk about with no particular plan and see the many sights. We must confess however that by 4.30pm the heat and the walking had got the better of us and it was time to head back.
We stopped off at Carrefour on the way back and bought fresh Dorada to barbeque for dinner. We had hoped to get a McDonalds milkshake but for some reason they don't seem to sell it here and anyway it smelt of pine frish in there. We had dinner about 7pm which didn't seem early but from the smells coming from around the campsite most people are eating now (9pm)
