Wills and James Road Trip
Day Forty-four 27.4.05
We travelled from Tavira to Seville today and found a site on the outskirts of the city in Dos Hermanos. The site feels like it is positioned in a triangle surrounded by motorways but the guide advises us it is the nearest to Seville and the bus is cheap. There was also a photo in another guide book of the site which showed a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by palms. We arrived at about 2pm and put the awning up. It is incredibly hot here and we both felt like a swim. Unfortunately the pool in real life was very much passed its best and they clearly hadn't prepared it for the summer. It is 30 degrees at the moment so we both had a shower to cool down.
We felt it would be a shame just to lull about the site all afternoon so decided to get the bus into town to have a look and perhaps get something to eat. We followed the directions for the bus stop and crossed a flyover with no footpath and played with the evening rush hour for a bit and then found the bus stop. It took us right to the centre (about 8 miles) for only 1.10 euros. We had an extensive walk around and then something to eat at Jardines de Murillo. We then began the search for the bus stop home. It was still really hot and sunny at 9.30pm and feeling a bit crotchety and fed up with walking we eventually found our stop.
Too tired and hot to do anything else but sleep. Looking forward to visiting Seville tomorrow all refreshed.
