We woke up with much excitement, we had seen Ayers Rock, we had seen Ningaloo Reef, we had driven the Great Ocean Road........now it was time for another amazing Australian thing....NEIGHBOURS NIGHT!!! Wohooo...we had been eating pasta and sweetcorn and 2 minute noodles for the last few weeks to save up for this event.

Di kindly dropped us at the train station and we went into the city centre for the last time, we went up a tower (which I cant remember the name of now!) and got amazing views over the city, we came down and stuffed our faces with KFC (we really sound like pigs!!) and then got a cake (come on ..we have been eating bland pasta for ages) we went into the big Myer store and sprayed ourselves with all the tester perfumes in an attempt not to smell all travelley and then got onto the tram to St Kilda to find the elephant and wheelbarrow pub where neighbours night was....in all our excitement we hadnt actually found out what road the pub was on but luckily found it after marching up a hill!

We got in and both ordered a pint each....they went down SOO well, we havent had a pint for AGES! Soon loads of people (mostly all brits) queued up to get into the neighbours night!! I think me and Kam got a bit overexcited...we were really enjoying our beers, after loads of old Kylie and Jason music it was announced that the neighbours stars were coming in yayaya!!! There was Rachel, Max, Dylan, KARL! and Adam (who the hell was adam we had to ask...we havent watched neighbors for 7 months!) Anyway they all came in and answered some questions from the audience and Dylan did a strange dance to the backstreet boys. After that all the neighbours people came round to everyones tables so that we could gawp at them close up and take pics of them...I sat on Karl, Max and Dylans lap which was nice. I popped out for the loo and when I came back to the main door there was someone dressed up as bouncer the dog..I thought it would be funny to grab its tail but whoever it was inside turned around and hit me!!! naughty doggy!!

The rest of the evening became a bit of a fun blur, hilights include Kam walking into a condom machine in the gents and completely ripping his shirt open, a dance competition where Kam was told off for suggestively dancing on the furniture and us both shreiking really loud much to the bemusement of the other people on our table. The evening was topped off by Karl and his band doing a set and we both jumped up and down and shreiked along with him!!!

So it was a good night, well considering we havent been out for absolutley AGES and we are now back on the noodles and pasta to compensate but hey it was worth it!!!
