So just a quick stopover in Bangkok, we arrived after a 12 hour bus journey from Phuket and checked into a nice guesthouse. We had a little bit of trouble trying to find the guesthouse, got chucked out of one taxi in the middle of a busy dual carriageway but luckily got in another one nearby.

The main reason we came to Bangkok was to sort out our Vietnam visas, they took a day to process and have got them fine. We will be returning to Bangkok after travelling through Cambodia so plan to do some proper sightseeing then. We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary in Bangkok by treating ourselves to a KFC and then spending a romantic evening on an overnight bus to Chiang Mai!
