We visited Nimbin, which is a hippie town where everyone takes drugs. Had a walk around the market and the shops. Looked around the Nimbin Museum which was strange and had lots of Volkswagon Camper Vans parked in the walls and things. After this we went to the Lighthouse in Byron Bay, this is the most Easterly point of Australia. We were a bit lazy and drove up there rather than cycling or walking, but it was so hot. On Monday we had a lazy day wandering around Byron Bay looking in the shops and swimming in the pool at the campsite. We spent Tuesday morning Kayaking around Byron Bay looking for Dolphins. We were up early starting at 9.00, we were out in the sea for ages, about 2 1/2 hours, about an hour into it i got tired and hadn\'t seen any dolphins. We were just turning back when we saw some dolphins, they were splashing about in the water and playing in the waves. We also saw a turtle. On the way back in Steve got stung by a jellyfish on his leg, luckily it wasn\'t a killer one. On Wednesday Steve went surfing on a free lesson after breaking his foot last time and he didnt manage to do the same again. he had a good time and managed to stand up on a few waves as well as dunked by lots of others. We left that afternoon.
