We left Sydney on Thursday morning and set off on a seven hour drive to Coffs Harbour. We stayed over night in a hostel. Steve drove most of the way and then I took over for the last couple of hours. It was fun driving the station wagon, but I didnt realise how long the bonnet was and when I parked at the hostel I drove straight into the fence, opps, luckily it didnt break it and the bumper already had a dent in it. We left Coffs Harbour on Friday morning to continue our trip to Byron Bay. We arrived here and found a nice campsite, with a swimming pool and we are camping here for the next 5 nights in the tent that came with our car, we have got so much camping stuff and it is all in really good condition.. It lovely in Byron Bay, I really like it, have been to the beach this morning but after two hours Steve decided he didnt like sand and wanted to leave. So we went swimming in the pool, Im quite glad we left when we did coz my face feels a bit burnt and so does my arm. It is really hot today, the hottest it has been since we have been in Australia.
