We left Surfers Paradise on Friday and made our way to Brisbane. We decided to go to Steve Urwins Australia Zoo. We saw lots of Crocodiles and watched some being feed their dinner. We also saw Koala Bears which we stroked and Kangaroos which you could also touch. There was lots of other animals there. Unfortunately Steve Urwin wasnt there. The zoo was further away from Brisbane than we thought so we carried on and stayed in Noosa. We decided to stay in a hostel for a night and stay in a bed after camping for the last 7 nights. We spent Saturday on the beach, the beachs are lovely, large with hardly antone on them. We bought a thermometer because it has been so hot and we wanted to know how hot it was and on the beach in the sun it was 38 degrees. We spent the evening in Noosa in a pub and walking on the beach. We spend Sunday relaxing. We had lots of experiences with bugs in the evening. You get lots of mosquitoes in the evening so we walked down to the beach and there was lots and lots of crabs everywhere, YUK! Then we sat on a bench and there was a spider about 4 inches wide, YUK! Then we went to bed and about two hours later a noise woke me up and there was a huge cockroach in our tent in the sleeping bit, i went mad and steve had to kill it with a plastic water bottle, YUK! It took me a long time to go to sleep after that. We are spending today on the beach and then leaving tomorrow to go to Hervey Day where we depart for Fraser Island on Wednseday.
