We have bought a car to travel up the east coast in. Its a 1985 Holden Commadore Vacationer called Vern. Its very strange owning our own car in Australia. Driving it home was funny, its an automatic and we were driving through the centre of Sydney not knowing where we were going. We meet Nigel in Darling Harbour for a drink in the evening. Meet Barry in Sydney on Sunday, very exciting as haven't seen him for months. Had a nice day walking round Sydney. On Monday we caught a Ferry to Manly and then a bus to Palm Beach which is were Home and Away is filmed. Then went sunbathing on the beach. When we returned to Sydney we went to the Aquarium and saw lots of fish and sharks. We had a long walk from Bondi to Coogee on Thursday evening, which tired me out. When we arrived in Coogee 2 hours after leaving Bondi we had to go to the pub for a few drinks after our efforts. On Wednesday we went to Big Day Out, which was held at the Olympic Stadium. We saw lots of bands, a few were Australian bands and also The Music, Slipknot, System of a Down, The Streets, Hatebreed and Beastie Boys. It was a lovely hot sunny day and we had a great time. it was also Australia Day.
