So much for not drinking much cider. I was reliving Gijon days of old with Sarah and so the four of us (we were joined by Sarah´s friend Fiona who was out visiting) ended up downing 8 bottles of sidra and dancing til 3.30am, an early night for any local. I´m glad I no longer live there, I´d have no street cred left the way I was dancing.
The next day we headed along the coast (nursing an almighty hangover)to the west to a surfy locale called Pantín, it was really a beach and not much else but had drawn quite a few campervans like us and there were a few hardy bodies out in the water. Dan gave the surfing a miss, it was minimal and bloody cold to boot. It´s definitely my preference to stay at places like this and not in campsites, the vibe is way more chilled and you can choose the view you want to wake up to.
