We headed off today from Patong for Kho Phi Phi Island. We got a early morning ferry and arrived about 11am on what is such a tropical paradise. We were in need of hot water as it had been 3 days of using a cold shower in Patong and we wanted a little luxury! We found a nice guesthouse which had A/C and hot water....bonus! It was a very new guesthouse like much of the buildings on the beach in phi Phi as it was affected so badly by the tsumuni back in Dec. The beaches are so beautiful, emerald coloured water and white sand. We were amazed at what the power of water can do. Many of the palm trees were just trunks. The leaves had been torn off. We spend the rest of the day on the beach soaking up the sun...Its a hard life out here!
