Eventually got on the bus to Brisbane which turned up 2 hours late. Our first impressions of the city weren't too good. We were really looking forward to getting back into a city where we could shop but as soon as we got there we couldn't wait to leave! Booked a few trips this morning for when we are up the coast a bit further. after our carpet picnic in our room we went to the beach for the afternoon which was great. During the evening we went to a restaurant called Moo Moo which is owned by one of Mum and Dads friends son. We thought we should check it out whilst we were in the area. it was very nice, quite posh! Our free drink went down well aswell!

Caught the Greyhound bus to Surfers Paradise which is on the Gold Coast. The weather cleared up as we arrived and we sat on the beach for most of the afternoon. Went to the local craft market along the beach tonight after a yummy Italian. Alot of the hostels we stay in have really crap kitchens which suits us. We can't be bothered battling for the pot and pans with our fellow backpackers so we dine out!!!
