Today we went up the Sydney tower which looks over the city and the harbour which is 560 meters above sea level. The views were amazing and we could see for miles...actually 25km! In the afternoon we did what we do best which was to shop. Lots of christmas trees going up in shops at the moment and we even saw santa down the high street. We went on a trip this morning to the blue mountains. We started off by visiting a wildlife park where we were able to toach koalas and feed kangaroos. I'm actually getting bored of the kangaroos already! Sarah still loves the animals though! Lunch was included in the trip today and we diffinately made the most of it by being the first ones in the restuarant and the last to leave....we have to make the most of buffet style lunches! Tried to have a lie-in this morning but the noisey bunch in our dorm decided differently! Moved to a differnet hostel in the City centre mid morning and then headed for a look around. Went back to the harbour for a proper look at the opera house and the bridge. It has been a very hot day here and it was so nice just chilling in the sun for a change. Went to the cinema tonight accompanied with a large bag of M&Ms!!

We arrived in Sydney after a long 12 hours on the train. We booked to travel business class because the seats are a little bit bigger. Dread to think what economy seats were like. Sarah curled up on the floor and I had 2 seats.....it was her idea, I didn't kick her off!! We are staying in a hostel in Kings Cross part of the city. It was appealing in the advert because they hada bath and we haven't had one for 5 weeks......we've been showering!! The rooms...
