After being on Lombok, we arrived on Bali yesterday and had a kind of culture shock. It is still the same country but seems like a whole different world. There are so many tourists here, it is busy on the streets, the prices are higher .... however our accomidation is very nice! We are staying at Bombora Surf Camp close to Uluwatu, with a lot of other guys from South Africa (but they are the whitest people I have ever seen) , Australia and Austria :D (Triple A^^)
Today we sort of explored the iseland. We were looking at Uluwatu's temple, which is a huge complex and full of monkeys. Damn do we hate monkeys now! You try to feed them and they try to attack you. While some Asians took pictures of us (because we are white!) a monkey stole my food and took the glasses of some man. The monkey got real aggressive once the man wanted his glasses back! So: always be aware of the monkeys!
We also wanted to go to Nusa Dua, being on the other side of the peninsula, however after having a flat tire on our scooter we decided to turn around and go the pool of the hotel ;)
Right now we are just comming back from what we would call clubbing. It started out in a bar called "Single Fin" where one beer was emptied after another. However the bar closed at 10:30 so we went on to a supermarket. YES! On bali the after party takes place at the supermarket :) it is amazing :) now we are just chilling with the others at the pool, buffing some cigars, eating, drinking, singing, just enjoying life ;)
