It is so easy to get to Bali, it only takes about 20 hours and a million planes and aiports and several languages. Of course we had to loose at least one thing at every single aiport, but in the end, we made it to bali. :)
On our journey we already learned a million thing:

1. Always look in the smallest pocket for lost stuff. We lost our passport, boardingpass, camara, iPod...and we found everything in the little pocket :)
2. When people tell you that you will be ripped off by taxi drivers, they are right! We paid way too much on our way to Kuta Beach within our 5h layover in Denpasar.
3. When you are white, people will talk to you 24/7 and take a million pictures of you.

We are staying at G'Day Inn in Kuta Beach Lombok, it is a real nice and simple hotel (however without a toilet seat^^). After a real good breakfast we decided to walk along the beach (renting a bike would have been so much better) and in the end we found a luxury hotel called "Novotel". If you want to do a simply beach vacation, that is you place to go! We rented a cheap "One-day-pass" which included the entire hotel equipment (beach, pools, bathrooms, volleyball, showers...) We even took a souvenier home with us, our first sunburn ;)
In the evening we went out to a bar/resteraunt called "Gecko" and had delicious food and drinks and met some Austrians (even from Vorarlberg) and had an amazing time with a live band!
