The Bed & Breakfast was nice to start off in. But it was a little too noisy from people going in and out all the time, and my room was next to the front door and the kitchen. So onward and upward. I found a new studio apartment with a very nice Ecuadorian couple. They are both retired teachers and added on to their home to make 2 apartments to rent. The picture is my outdoor kitchen. It is always nice here, so making meals and eating outside is wonderful. For this apartment, fully furnished with bed, sofa, side tables, chest of drawers, closet, private bathroom, internet connection, sheets, blankets and dishes and cooking pots and pans was only $220.00 a month. It is in a nice neighborhood and walking distance to the bus stop and shopping. The bus only cost 25 cents to go anywhere in the city! In case you want to take a taxi, like when I go to the grocery store and have a lot of bags, that only cost $2.00 for almost anywhere in the city also. The universe has been very good to me here. I meet new people everyday.
